Local Harvest ‘Ukmeke ‘Ai Pono program

From April until early July 2025, Local Harvest, a food wholesaler located in Kahului, administered the statewide ‘Umeke ‘Ai program which provided boxes filled with a wide variety of premium produce which we were able to distribute to all four of our weekly sites. The boxes included conventional items such as carrots, boy choy and sweet potatoes along with specialty items like breadfruit, dragon fruit and Hawaii-made tofu. We encouraged our friends to try out new recipes and the food boxes were gratefully received. Thank you Local Harvest for blessing our friends!
