Beyond food…
Much of our work in 2025 has directly supported victims of the 2023 wildfires. We started the year with 40% of our friends connected to a Lahaina address. Many have moved several times by this point with only 18% still residing in Lahaina. The other 22% continue to access our distributions from temporary housing all over Maui. In addition to providing food to these households, Feed My Sheep staff has worked with Maui Community Organizations Active in Disaster (Maui COAD) to help some of those families move into new temporary housing as they await the rebuilding of their Lahaina home.
